Open House is the kick-off and grand opening of HomeAid’s Project
Playhouse®. Attended on average by over 1,000 guests, this family fun day is
the only day the playhouses are open for the public to come inside. Guests
receive bags filled with goodies and children can enjoy entertainment such as face
painting, balloon twisters and more.

On weekends throughout the six-week playhouse display, the public is invited to
tour the village and see the beautiful entries up close. Playhouses have a Dutch
door so guests can peak inside to see the amazing interiors as they walk around
the landscaped site to see the craftsmanship and tiny details of each entry.
Thousands of people flock to the display for village tours to see the yearly one-ofa-
kind playhouses up for award competition and live auction.

exhilarating live auction, which brings the crowd to their feet!
